Quantitative Research Manager

Shu Yik merged her passion for statistics and shopping when she delved into retail and consumer behavior research. She has enhanced methodologies and models for analysis, ensuring better quality solutions and brings diverse industry experience and knowledge from multinational research companies to the team. Her education in Economics and Masters in Applied Statistics combined with her work experience earned her the 2014 ISI-RSC Young Statistician’s Awards for her paper on the “Female Labour Force Participation in Malaysia”.

Susan developed a fascination in statistics for its practicality and accessibility to valuable information. Her expertise in consumer research, market and feasibility studies and trade area demographics are strongly supported by her knowledge in computing. These honed skills have allowed her to innovate research experiments and systems, stemming from a solid foundation from her BSc in Applied Mathematics and Masters in Applied Statistics. An individual with an active lifestyle, Susan appreciates the philosophy of not just thinking outside the box, but removing it completely.


Qualitative Research Manager

Zhen Hui always had an interest in exploring the motivation and history behind every action. With more than seven years in research, his experience covers consumer and public affairs research to social impact assessment and communication campaign evaluation. He is an avid reader and naturally inquisitive, drawing from his Masters in Communication & Media Studies and BA in Communications & International Studies. His analysis on a local financial literacy campaign is published in the anthology Malaysians and Their Identities (2017). Zhen Hui values conversations with others, believing it provides a richer perspective and context.
